Siobhan Connor - Psychotherapist

About me

I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. I offer a range of therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and MANTRA (an eating disorder specific therapy). I am currently working towards accreditation in Cognitive Analytical Therapy and will be able to offer this from Autumn 2026. Until then I can offer CAT informed therapy.

I have worked in NHS Psychology Services for 15years. I have experience of working with people struggling with a range of psychological difficulties including depression, trauma, anxiety, low self esteem, relational and interpersonal difficulties, OCD and Eating Disorders.

I currently split my time between the NHS and private work. I have a strong interest in, and a great deal of experience of working with people with OCD, eating disorders and those who have experienced trauma in their relationships.

I understand the importance of finding a therapist that you feel safe with in order to gain the most from therapy.

I offer a free 20min consultation online or via telephone to answer any questions you may have. You can then take some time to decide whether you would like to arrange an initial consultation where we can talk in more depth about your difficulties, what you would like to gain from therapy and we can decide together what we think would be most helpful for you. I offer initial consultations and therapy sessions both in person and online if that is your preference.
